The worst doctor I’ve ever seen. Very rude and ignorant. I feel violated and frustrated. She should revise the Hippocratic oath!
Very rude and didn't know anything about my condition.
I've had to see this doctor on a few occasions over the years, for my baby's health condition and my own. Every time she has been rude, seemingly hostile, uninterested and dismissive. Singularly unhelpful. I was stunned by her attitude.
This doctor needs retraining in mental health and how to be polite. She informed me that I needed to start coming off antidepressant meds, around 3-4 months after I had first started taking them, even though I had told her I was not feeling better at all. I know for a fact that you are ONLY meant to start coming off antidepressants 6 months after all symptoms have resolved. Either way, whether I felt better or not, she was wrong and quite frankly it made me very very scared that I would not be able to continue receiving the medicine I needed to stop me feeling suicidal. When asking about referral to the wellbeing centre she told me in a patronising way that she couldn't refer me as it would just take even longer and I had to do this myself. I have not returned to see her or anyone else at the practice, instead I get my prescription on repeat directly from the pharmacy. Seeing her just makes mental health problems worse. Dr Ronak Patel has previously been helpful, understanding of mental health and really professional, so I would recommend seeing him instead.
I like this Doctor and rate her highly. Dr. Garewal has always given me time and space in consultation and is professional and proactive.
